2010 Iowa County
Fairest Of The Fair
Torrie Tibbits
Hello! My name is Torrie Tibbits. I am extremely honored to serve this year as the 2010 Iowa County Fairest of the Fair! I am the daughter of Bob and Connie Tibbits. I grew up on our family farm outside of Mineral Point where we raise sheep, beef cattle, and chickens. I graduated from Mineral Point High School in 2007 and I am currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where I will be a senior this fall majoring in Elementary Education with a double minor in Inclusion (Special Education) and Early Childhood Education. Over the years, 4-H and FFA have both played a very important role in my life. I have been an active member of the County Line 4-H Club and Mineral Point FFA Chapter. Through 4-H, I have been an Iowa County 4-H Ambassador, a member of the Iowa County 4-H Livestock Judging Team, a 4-H camp counselor, and an exhibitor at county and state level. In high school, I was an officer and member of the Mineral Point FFA Chapter where I had the opportunity of working with many new people and keeping my interest in agriculture alive and strong. Through 4-H and FFA I have had the chance to promote these two great organizations. I look forward to meeting many of you at the various community events taking place this summer and hope to see you all at the 154th Iowa County Fair. |

Hello, I’m Jillian Weier and I am delighted to be the 2008 Iowa County
Fairest of the Fair. I am the daughter of Mark and Sarah Weier, and I grew up

I hope to meet many of you during the summer at community events and I can’t

2004 Iowa County
Fairest Of The Fair
Andrea Dolan
Andrea is a Dodgeville High School Graduate who is now
in her second year at the UW-Platteville majoring in Animal Science with
dairy emphasis. Upon graduation she would like to work in nutrition or
for a genetic company focusing on the dairy industry. Andres has been
involved with many activities at the fair over years in 4-H, and now
realizes how important it is to become involved. Andrea believes that
county fairs need more promotion to increase attendance. "Most
people in the community don't realize how much work young children and
adults put into all their fair projects."
